Meri’s Perfect Tour - The Traveling Student
October 9, 2007
*This tour comes from the imagination of our student contributor for the Amazing Tour Blog, Meri Kimura. She takes her experience as a traveler and a student and comes up with this innovative idea for a tour.*
All students have a thirst for adventure. I mean, having to attend school – again! - after 13 years of torture, we deserve some kind of break, right? There must be at least 40% of new high school graduates that have no idea what they want to do in life.
Why study for a Business degree, when in your last year of study, you change your mind and want to become an architect?
Why spend years getting a Law degree when you could end up becoming a stay-at-home mom?
Why spend that time studying and sweating for exams, when you can travel the world to see what you want to do with your life?
/ Seeing is believing/, and I believe that we need to _see_ what there is offered in this world to make our own niche in society. Experience what the world has to offer before you buckle down and make the most important decisions of your life.
And what would be a better way to enjoy a new school, new friends, and experience the world in a different light, then a world-wide university tour. That’s right. A global tour of beautiful, exotic cities, their universities, their studies, and their language. Welcome to Global Campus Tours. Where seeing, is believing.
Let’s say that I’m a newly graduated High School student with no plans in mind, than go to university to study Journalism. But where to go? Concordia in Quebec? Ryerson in Ontario? St. Thomas in New Brunswick? But what if I wanted to go travel, go far away from home? Sign up for the Global Campus Tours for Journalism students, and away we go.
